"A Place to Lay Your Head"

This 5-½ minute documentary was both an honor and a privilege to create with our long-time partner, Catholic Charities. The video earned an Emmy Award in the category “Public/Current/Community Affairs-Single Story.”

"'A place to lay your head' is playing a key role in galvanizing our community around this vision," said Tim Marx, Catholic Charities CEO and president. "Everyone deserves a place to call home.”

"Marathon Man"

StoryTeller earned its fourth Upper Midwest Regional Emmy® Award on the shoulders of our wonderfully talented video production team. Our dynamic team came together to tell the emotional and inspiring story of Jim Chalmers — a marathon runner who lives with Cri Du Chat syndrome, a rare genetic disorder.

Best Places to Work 2022 Graphic

Best Places to Work

The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has awarded StoryTeller as one of the Twin Cities' Best Places to Work both in 2018, 2022, and again in 2024.

StoryTeller is in the "extra-small" category, for companies with 10-24 employees in Minnesota. In 2022, the Business Journal honored 70 workplaces in four categories, ranging from "extra-small" to "large."

"It's exciting to look at all the great companies on that list," says Ed Heil. "It's been a goal of ours to become widely recognized as one of the best places to work in the area so this honor makes it feel like we're starting to be seen that way."
